Quran Academy

Quran Academy is an afterschool program provided by HIC for boys and girls aged 6+ every Monday - Thursday from 5:30PM to 7:30PM. This program aims to teach students how to read the Quran with proper Tajweed and offers them the opportunity to finish by memorizing the Holy Quran at their own pace. There are 3 levels: For the first level, students learn and memorize Tajweed rules. During the second level, students finish a reading of the holy Quran while applying the rules they learned in level one. For the boys, after students complete reading the Quran with proper Tajweed, they are eligible to move on to the part time Hifz class where they memorize the holy Quran according to each student's capability. Students also get to memorize surahs and duas as well as practice Islamic studies using the Safr curriculum. Islamic studies include teaching them how to pray and do wudhu and basic duas to perform salah, etc. In Quran Academy teachers get to work hands on with the students making their time efficient and valuable. Classes will start from September 8th, and admission is on a first come first served basis.
